Siam Niramit takes place on a colossal stage, so high that is actually ranks Word’s Highest Stage in the Guinness World of Records.  Occupying more than half of the entire theatre space, the panoramic Ratchada Theatre stage is built to accommodate the show’s monumental set pieces and a legion of performers (including real elephants and goats) to recreate a realistic ambience of Siam hundreds of years ago.

The show is a festival of colours, music and dance depicting perfectly the joy and grace of Thai culture. Siam Niramitspans over 80 minutes with no intermission and it’s still only enough to brush the surface of Thailand’s 7 century long history. Four geographical areas and their people are depicted: the North, the South Seas, the Northeast and the Central Plains. Also enacted is Thai people’s common belief in the Law of Karma, in which the good and bad deeds done on Earth will be returned in kind in a next life.
