Novotel Bangkok Impact is proud to be a SHA Plus hotel in Bangkok, certificate given by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Due to the situation, hotels and services need to meet the pandemic-level safety and health standards. These include cleaning regularity, placement of sanitizers, table arrangements, adequate signage and several staff procedures. Most importantly, it’s a certificate meant to assure you that the establishment you’re staying at practices proper hygiene protocols and is safe to visit.

The tourism behavior has changed for the past months. Therefore, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has introduced the Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration certification (SHA). So, this is for the hotels to raise the bar for cleanliness to give confidence to tourists traveling around the country. Now, SHA Plus certification consider hotels as benchmarks for good hygiene and safety standard.

TAT is collaborating with the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for this project. As well as, collaborating with Board of Trade of Thailand and Thai tourism operators. Therefore, this is to aim to upgrade Thai tourism industry’s hygiene standards with SHA Plus certification. And also to reduce the risk and prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus. This is done by integrating safety, sanitation and public health measures within an establishment’s service standards. Moreover, it ensures that both Thai and foreign tourists have confidence in the safety of the products and services of Thailand. Novotel Bangkok Impact has now become a SHA Plus certification hotel by implementing additional hygiene and prevention measures.

Accor has also represent a certification to all hotels to point out the priority and important of our guests and staff’s safety measures with the ALLSAFE label. ALLSAFE “represents the new elevated cleanliness protocols and standards have been met” at the hotel. Such measures as reinforced cleaning programs in all high-touch areas, safety and hygienic training for all our Heartist team members, safe food services and guest access to medical professionals and support. SHA Plus hotel in Bangkok with certification allows vaccinated travelers to explore Bangkok without quarantine. The Novotel Bangkok Impact provides vaccinated travelers with end-to-end service from the airport to the SHA Plus hotel, via the Thailand Test and Go Packages. This package includes one night stay and a single RT-PCR test. The RT-PCR Swab test is completed via drive thru service at the Thonburi Bamrungmuang Hospital. For a small additional fee we can also arrange SHA Plus certified transport service from the airport to the hotel, plus additional tests for couples and families. When our international guests receive a negative test result they are free to go out and explore the bustling Bangkok city.
