Suan Lum Night Bazaar as the name suggests, is a night market located on Ratchada Road. The market consists of 1,800 stalls, shops and restaurants, but also some entertainment venues. Modelling itself on an open air flea market opposite Lumpini Park, the revamped Suan Lum Night Bazaar opened in December 2015. The new location is not as centrally located, but has a very modern vibe than its predecessor. The night market is complemented by a brand new 800 room hotel called The Bazaar Hotel and the Playhouse Cabaret Show.

Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchada is a series of shops and stalls split in an indoor market and an open air shopping street. While the items for sale can be found in most night markets in Bangkok, it is great fun to browse through alleys of shiny jewellery, casual clothes, printed t-shirts and souvenirs in a brand new location. However, the highlight of this night bazaar is the entertainment. The best comes in the form Muay Thai or Thai boxing, live music and magic shows.

Let’s not forget the food. Eating is a huge part of the night market experience and a trip to Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchada is no exception. Guests can expect to find several restaurants offering traditional Thai food and seafood. Not to mention all the snacks and sweets stalls, you will eat to your heart’s content. The new bazaar is easy to find as it is walking distance from the MRT at Lad Phrao.
